Installation
- Remove the tyre, deflate it fully, and unbolt the old TPMS sensor from the wheel.
- Fit the new sensor on the rim and tighten it to the manufacturer’s torque. The sensor body is marked 4 Nm.
- Reinflate the tyre, balance the wheel, and refit it.
- Drive for several minutes at 15 mph (24 km/h) or more so the sensor can register.
- If the car does not recognise the sensor, run the TPMS relearn procedure, or use an OBD-II tool to write the sensor ID.
- Install the new sensor on the rim and tighten it to the manufacturerrecommended torque.
- Drive the vehicle for several minutes at 15 mph (24 km/h) or more to allow the sensor to register automatically.
- If your vehicle's ECU does not recognise the sensor, run the TPMS relearn procedure in the vehicle's settings.
- As a last resort, use an OBDII TPMS programming tool to forcewrite the new sensor ID to the ECU.
Notes
- Compare 42607-33021, 42607-33011, 42607-06011 or PMV-107J with the number on your original sensor before ordering.
- Other markings on the housing, including 5CB0890 and 1651121A02, are not catalogue part numbers.
- If the warning lamp stays on, check the tyre pressures and that the seal is seated.
- If the tyrepressure warning lamp stays illuminated after installation, check that tyre pressures are set correctly and adjust by deflating or inflating as needed.
- Ensure each sensor is installed at the correct torque and the seals are seated properly to prevent air leaks.
- Verify that the part number and radio frequency (MHz) match your original sensors.
- Clear any stored TPMS faults in the vehicle's ECU before driving.
- If warnings persist, swap the wheel with another position to see if the issue follows the sensor, helping to identify a defective unit.
- Sensors are preprogrammed for your vehicle; they usually selfregister after installation. If your vehicle's ECU does not recognise the new sensor, run the relearn procedure and, if necessary, use an OBD tool to program the ID.
- Includes a twoyear manufacturer warranty covering manufacturing defects and sensor battery failure.
- This package includes four preprogrammed TPMS sensors with aluminium valve stems (one for each wheel).
- As OEreplacement sensors they provide accurate pressure readings and maintain your dashboard warning system, and they include a twoyear manufacturer warranty.
- Suitable OE numbers 4260733021 (interchange/reference) 4260733011 4260706011 PMV107J
Installation
- Reinflate the tyre, balance the wheel and mount it back on the vehicle.
