Installation & programming

  1. Remove the tyre, deflate it fully and unbolt the old TPMS sensor from the wheel.
  2. Install the new sensor on the rim and tighten it to the manufacturer-recommended torque.
  3. Reinflate the tyre, balance the wheel and mount it back on the vehicle.
  4. Drive the vehicle for several minutes at 15 mph (24 km/h) or more to allow the sensor to register automatically.
  5. If your vehicle's ECU does not recognise the sensor, run the TPMS relearn procedure in the vehicle's settings.
  6. As a last resort, use an OBD-II TPMS programming tool to force-write the new sensor ID to the ECU.

Troubleshooting

  • If the tyre-pressure warning lamp stays illuminated after installation, check that tyre pressures are set correctly and adjust by deflating or inflating as needed.
  • Ensure each sensor is installed at the correct torque and the seals are seated properly to prevent air leaks.
  • Verify that the part number and radio frequency (MHz) match your original sensors.
  • Clear any stored TPMS faults in the vehicle's ECU before driving.
  • If warnings persist, swap the wheel with another position to see if the issue follows the sensor, helping to identify a defective unit.

Notes

  • Sensors are pre-programmed for your vehicle; they usually self-register after installation. If your vehicle's ECU does not recognise the new sensor, run the relearn procedure and, if necessary, use an OBD tool to program the ID.
  • Includes a 1 year warranty covering manufacturing defects and sensor battery failure.
  • This package includes 1 pre-programmed TPMS sensor.
