Installation & programming

  1. Remove the tyre, deflate it fully and unbolt the old TPMS sensor from the wheel.
  2. Install the new sensor on the rim and tighten it to the manufacturerrecommended torque.
  3. Reinflate the tyre, balance the wheel and mount it back on the vehicle.
  4. Drive the vehicle for several minutes at 15 mph (24 km/h) or more to allow the sensor to register automatically.
  5. If your vehicle's ECU does not recognise the sensor, run the TPMS relearn procedure in the vehicle's settings.
  6. As a last resort, use an OBDII TPMS programming tool to forcewrite the new sensor ID to the ECU.

Troubleshooting

  • If the tyrepressure warning lamp stays illuminated after installation, check that tyre pressures are set correctly and adjust by deflating or inflating as needed.
  • Ensure the sensor is installed at the correct torque and the seals are seated properly to prevent air leaks.
  • Verify that the part number and radio frequency (MHz) match your original sensor.
  • Clear any stored TPMS faults in the vehicle's ECU before driving.
  • If warnings persist, swap the wheel with another position to see if the issue follows the sensor, helping to identify a defective unit.

Notes

  • The sensor is preprogrammed for your vehicle; it usually selfregisters after installation. If your vehicle's ECU does not recognise the new sensor, run the relearn procedure and, if necessary, use an OBD tool to program the ID.
  • Includes a twoyear manufacturer warranty covering manufacturing defects and sensor battery failure.
  • This package includes one preprogrammed TPMS sensor with an aluminium valve stem.
