Installation & programming
- Remove the tyre, deflate it fully and unbolt the old TPMS sensor from the wheel.
- Install the new sensor on the rim and tighten it to the manufacturerrecommended torque.
- Reinflate the tyre, balance the wheel and mount it back on the vehicle.
- Drive the vehicle for several minutes at 15 mph (24 km/h) or more to allow the sensor to register automatically.
- If your vehicle's ECU does not recognise the sensor, run the TPMS relearn procedure in the vehicle's settings.
- As a last resort, use an OBDII TPMS programming tool to forcewrite the new sensor ID to the ECU.
Troubleshooting
- If the tyrepressure warning lamp stays illuminated after installation, check that tyre pressures are set correctly and adjust by deflating or inflating as needed.
- Ensure the sensor is installed at the correct torque and the seals are seated properly to prevent air leaks.
- Verify that the part number and radio frequency (MHz) match your original sensor.
- Clear any stored TPMS faults in the vehicle's ECU before driving.
- If warnings persist, swap the wheel with another position to see if the issue follows the sensor, helping to identify a defective unit.
Notes
- The sensor is preprogrammed for your vehicle; it usually selfregisters after installation. If your vehicle's ECU does not recognise the new sensor, run the relearn procedure and, if necessary, use an OBD tool to program the ID.
- Includes a twoyear manufacturer warranty covering manufacturing defects and sensor battery failure.
- This package includes one preprogrammed TPMS sensor with an aluminium valve stem.
