Installation

1. Prise the old button out with a trim tool.
2. Unplug the connector and plug it into the new button.
3. Press the new button into the dashboard until it sits flush.
4. Test start and stop. Some cars need a diagnostic reset if the button does not respond.
5. Use a trim removal tool to gently pry out the old start/stop button
6. Disconnect the wiring connector from the original switch
7. Plug the connector into the new button and press it firmly into place
8. Test the start/stop function; if the button does not respond, check that the connector is fully seated and the vehicle battery is charged. Some models may require an ignition reset or programming via diagnostic equipment
